Just keep thinking about the money...

The relatively newly-identified illness ADHD (Attention Defecit and Hyperactivity Disorder), occurring most commonly in pre-adolescent children, is often treated with stimulants, such as Ritalin, and amphetamines like Dexedrine.

The bizarre thing about this is that the condition, which is one of manic behaviour, hugely increased agitation and energy, nervousness, excessive restlessness and poor sleep patterns, is treated with drugs that ordinarily cause manic behaviour, hugely increased agitation and energy, nervousness, excessive restlessness and poor sleep patterns.

I have a theory that the same is happening to me with coffee. There seems to become a point where no matter how strong I make it, no amount of coffee can stop me wanting to curl up in a ball under my desk and go to sleep. I sometimes have serious problems keeping my eyes open.

Or perhaps the shine is simply wearing off, and working for a huge corporate dealing with the same old different problems all day every day really is mindlessly tedious after all.

There's always this ... try engaging some different caffeine receptors :-) Alternatively, focus on getting the best night's sleep you can - camomile tea at bedtime can be good. -- simon

That is the coolest thing since the last cool thing.... Personally I find I get bored very easily due to knwoing too much stuff and having done too much stuff (back to that conversation:) , but then I sit back, anaylse the entire business, come up with a more intelligent solution to fix the entire corporation. Do I tell them about it though, no, I sit back smile to myself and carry on , safe in the knowledge that 90% of the poeple on this planet are sheep, b-arkers, and in a world of sheep it's good to be a wolf ;-p -- bombholio

I hate corporations. I completely loathe working for one day after day. Unfortunately I'm stuck in my current position so I content myself by being miserable and playing Halo2 on the PC.
