Go to install logmein from logmein.com and realise that this inestimably wonderful piece of remote control software doesn't have a Mac incarnation.

Fire up the aforementioned Parallels virtual machine.

Install logmein on it.

Log in to it remotely.

VNC from it to the Mac on which it's running.

Bring Parallels to the foreground.

Watch as the screen slowly repaints itself into infinity.

I was half expecting to see smoke rising from the back of the machine but to the credit of all involved parties, everything behaved wonderfully, and a beautiful piece of PUKDA* was produced.
