Bargain Kona/Scott/Felt/Haro mountain bikes
by Bruce Ure at 15:39 20/09/06 (Blogs::Bruce)
Anyone wishing to avail themselves of a bargain mountain bike should run fast to High Peak Cycles' eBay store where awaits them a reasonably large but rapidly shrinking list of 2005 bikes at stupid prices.
Example:

Kona Coiler Primo 2005 model

UK price at launch in October 2004: £2,500.
Price from High Peak today: £1,300.

(Actually it's on the site as £1,399 but if you call they will give you another £100 off).

Aren't folk strange. I expect the difference between the 2005 and 2006 and 2007 models can be measured in grams.

This has been a public service announcement.

lol, no mate, the engine is the bit from your hips to the ground*.

Although they are starting to come with gearboxes...

I've got two legs from my hips to the ground, and
when I move they walk around, and
when I lift they climb the stairs and
when I shave they ain't got hairs.
