Unfortunate names
by Bruce Ure at 12:58 21/02/05 (Blogs::Bruce)
I remember once when dealing with a list of names in a database, that we had a "Porntangjitlikit Pisit" (though my spelling may not be 100%) which I thought was quite amazing.
I just discovered where i currently work we have a person whose first names is "Prikshit", which seems a little unfortunate as well.

Ah, simple things. (Cue Dirty Vegas... for whom incidentally I have tickets... May... excellent).

Nice. Then there's of course the ubiquitous Smeg who, to their credit, have taken on the coarse, puerile British public, and emerged victorious. You can buy a Smeg in any high street, and nobody laughs.

"Skum" seems to be scandinavian for "foam" - unless the Gillette Barberskum that I'm shaving with is made of something I'd rather not know about...
