Swallowfield is a small village lying about 5 miles south of Reading on the Berkshire/Hampshire border in the UK.

Farley Hill School is once again holding a jumble sale in Swallowfield Village Hall on Saturday March 19th at 2.00pm. High quality selection of books, videos & CD, clothing, toys & bric a brac. Teas, cakes, raffle & tombola. Proceeds in aid of farley Hill School. Entrance 50, OAPs 30p, children free.

Farley Hill School Association is holding its Winter Wonderland Christmas event on Friday December 3rd, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm at the school. Entrance is 50p.

On Sunday 13th July 2003, the Swallowfield and District Horticultural Society have arranged an Open Gardens Day in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Relief.

This coming Saturday, the 14th June, sees the 2003 Swallowfield Church Fête, starting at 2pm.

After consultation with the villagers of Swallowfield, the second draft of the Village Design Statement has been completed and submitted to Wokingham District Council.
When the WDC's comments have been received, the draft will be amended if necessary. The final version will be printed in full colour, submitted to WDC, and distributed to all households in Swallowfield Village.
