I've worked out that I can survive as a freelance despatcher (keep the house etc, without a lodger) as I managed to pull in 600 squids in the first 7 days in the quietest period of the year for despatching....

but the icing on the cake is I have an interview today for a Turbine making company in Basingstoke...fixed 12 month contract, with travel to Switzerland, Italy , Belgium and the States....and they're only interviewing me and one other...I get the first interview and they'll only interview the other if they don't like me....

Fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed :)
