Abbey's business banking website has a facility to request a callback from an adviser at a time to suit you.

All very good, you'd think...

... but when they call you back you just end up in the queue on hold, albeit on their dollar not yours.

At the end of a half hour on hold yesterday afternoon, the automated voice that had been assuring me my call was important to them and thanking me for my patience suddenly said "Goodbye" and hung up.
