It is strange that in the month since he announced it on sci.math nobody has posted any mathematical opinion on the validity or relevance of the paper (on the web nor in newsgroups), nor reported it as news anywhere but in Dutch-language media; however the latter are full of it, all hailing it as the first solution to a problem plaguing us since the time of Euclid.
I find it difficult to know what to believe in such circumstances ...
