Yep, we're in the sticks - big time. We live halfway up a mountain in the Blue Ridge, about 35 miles S of Roanoke. Very much southern VA.

I am unfortunate enough not to get broadband, but not quite unfortunate enough to be on dial-up, but lately I'd consider dial-up a blessing.

I spend most of my day trying not to get nailed by DirecWay's Fair Access Policy.

Though, fingers crossed, its days are numbered, I am getting quotes for a T1 as we speak.

Though my loop is slightly on the long side, at about 50,000 ft, so not looking forward to the quote....
