Dancing in the dark
by David Crowson at 15:37 08/07/04 (Blogs::Dave)
Got home last night to find the entire village without power, lucky I had some candles left over from PistonFest (and my Cropredy Lantern:)

Of course, no power= no heating = no hot water and also no power=no heated waterbed=sleep on the sofa, so I phoned work today and said I'll not be in as I can't have a bath or iron a shirt, so it's double shift time as of 10.30pm tonite :-/

Power came back at 1.30pm today...

I don't recall too many power outages in Britain. By comparison, Eastern USA is practically a third world country. There are marginally fewer power outages here than there were when I lived in Lagos, Nigeria. Of course, sticking the power on termite infested wooden poles bang on the side of roads that have no kerbing doesnt help.
