They're talking about Dave Winer, not Dave Winder, though the later quote from Schofield about CIX made me go and look carefully to see if Wavey'd also been mentioned.

Dave Winer is the brains behind / lunatic self publicist of (delete according to taste) one flavour of RSS (the non-RDF flavour), and has been writing opinion pieces for over a decade now. He's also the guy behind Userland Frontier (originally a Mac-based scripting language, now somewhat more hydra-headed).

See how they lament the lack of structured discussion in the blogosphere! Marvel at the hand wringing over lack of context! Thrill to the possibility of a data/news/blog visualisation model using to colour, size etc!

There's only one way to model a landscape containing items with properties that make up an n-dimensional array (array!) - and directorising (cf Yahoo) it ain't.
