Remember "Project-X" from Apple, back in the mid-90s?

Core was the "Meta Content Framework" (MCF) which evolved into RDF via XML, and the HotSauce plug-in.

HotSauce simulated 3D space to represent relationships between entities, and was an early demonstration of how to map and navigate concept spaces.

Something very similar is Music Plasma

Worth a look.

Yeah, it's pretty funky isn't it. I tried searching for George Formby, not expecting any results, and was pleasantly surprised - it turned out nice again :-) -- simon

Excellent, something to occupy the rest of the day with :) I typed 'zero 7' into it and was a bit shocked as it pretty much lists all the other bands that I've been dl'ing (allegedly:) recently ...royksopp, lemon jelly , sigur ros, boards of canada etc etc.... -- bombholio

Just a thought... I take it you've discovered Goldfrapp...? (or perhaps you introduced them to me:) they are supporting... wait for it... duran duran, shortly. Gag. Almost worth going, and leaving after the support come off :) bruce
