[The headset] can also read emotions of players and translate those to the virtual world. "The headset could be used to improve the realism of emotional responses of AI characters in games," said Ms Le.
"If you laughed or felt happy after killing a character in a game then your virtual buddy could admonish you for being callous," she explained.
Yeah, right. That's exactly what all the shoot-em-ups have been waiting for - a chance to upbraid the player for being too vicious. :)
Sounds fun though, if a bit limited - it should at least be picking up motor neurons as well.
