Re: Domestic wind turbines are crap -- shock horror

Closest I can get to that is running 9 miles home the other day at -2 celsius in skimpy running shorts and a t-shirt.

I won't make THAT mistake again. It's fine while you're running, but stop for more than 5 seconds and you turn into a block of ice.

Tonight I will run home wearing tracky bottoms and top, 2 thin under layers, and the neck warmer I used to wear on my Blackbird.

And round about Kingston I should finish Cormac McCarthy's "No Country for Old Men" read brilliantly by Tom Stechschulte on t'iPod. Bloody marvellous book. And a wonderful film.

And on a related note, if you're up for some deeply thought-provoking post-apocalyptic shenanigans I highly recommend McCarthy's "The Road" as well. Blinding.
