Nice idea, but you still need a circular domed ceiling.
My quest is still for a ruggedized hi-res, 10x optical zoom video camera with a fish eye lens, image intensifier and a TiO2-coated glass dome cover, firewire/usb or 802.11n (preferably) interface, together with polar->rectangular video de-convolving software.
I already have the LCD panel, y'see.
How much are patents again?
