Can't say that I'm surprised. Peter Wheeler made some errors when it came to replacing the Griffith and Chimera models. The focus should have been bringing that level of performance (or close to it) to a slightly cheaper segment first rather than producing ever more expensive vehicles.
However, the game was over when the company was sold to a 22 year old Russian playboy whose desire for excess was greater than Wheeler's and who didn't even have the focus to maintain the factory rights.
Rumors of European production are likely greatly exaggerated. The marque will probably be sold as automotive industry bling within a year or two.
