OK then, how was he attempting the transfer?
SMB/FTP/etc to one of your servers?
Wireless or wired?
Pulling data from the server, or having data pushed at it by the server?
Memory stick?
Waving the computer wildly in the direction of the chair?
RFC 1149?
Enquiring minds would like to know... (especially given the trouble we had getting your laptop to talk to my wifi)
