(near) Winter solstice sunset 2008 at Stonehenge

It's all about knowing exactly where to stand...

This was taken on the 26th December 2008, five days after solstice, but the sun has moved only a minute distance from its true solstice sunset position.

Taken from 500 yards away from Stonehenge, standing on the Lockyer Azimuth of the main axis.

Sunny solstice everyone, albeit a few days late.
