Here's rather a nice stone circle, built by Steve Wagoner in Missouri.

The write-up's a bit confused - I don't think the reporter knows what they're saying:
The center of the henge is astronomically aligned to mark the rising and setting of the sun and the summer solstice and winter solstice.
But never mind the commentary, the monument itself is a credit to Steve's efforts.
