Inverting the sense of IE's conditional comments
by Simon at 18:44 22/07/07 (Blogs::Simon)
Glenn Gilbert's come up with a neat way to deliver a CSS file only to those browsers that are standards compliant, by inverting the sense of IE conditional comments.

Well worth a read.

I agree with his last paragraph:

For those people who haven't upgraded their browsers in the last 10 years, they can enjoy the site in the linear layout. If they can't upgrade their browsers it is no longer my problem.

... now all I have to do is rewrite all my sites so they linearise properly :-)
