I was recently contacted by another researcher into things ancient, who is an enthusiast for Thor Heyerdahl's work like I am.

He's called Peter Marsh and he has an excellent website which does a good job of bringing together various strands of information on the diffusion/catastrophe view of humankind's history.

All nicely linked to relevant published papers.

He's also recommended a book to me by the dendrochronologist Mark Bailee, called "Exodus to Arthur". Off to Amazon I go....
