He is a hoarder like me, only has come under pressure to dispose of some of his 'junk'. Seems an oddly familiar situation but I can't quite place it.
Anyway.
It's a piston from a Ford Cosworth V8 used in an actual Grand Prix race by the Tyrell team in the early 80's. That's as precise as I know, unfortunately.. it would be nice to know which race.
It is a very beautiful thing indeed.
