Numbers of days between solstices and equinoxes

I've been meaning to do this diagram for a while, showing why equinoxes aren't halfway between solstices. Finally got round to it.

And one with the cross quarter days calculated according to Merlin of England's method of defining two "equidistants" halfway between each pair of solstices (WS to SS and SS to WS) and then the cross quarter days being halfway between equidistants and solstices.

As above, including cross quarter days
