I hope to see you while I'm enjoying some beer and food in a friend's back garden while you run past the wall..

Best of luck Bruce

Thank dude. What mile? I'll look out for you. In fact give me an exact google maps reference if you like.

Oh and have an ice cold pint of Guinness waiting for me ;-)

Cheers dude and no I'm not really joking!

The longest run I've done in training was the Kingston Breakfast Run two (three?) weeks ago, in which I ran 16 miles in ~2h33.

Which is 3 minutes slower than the very first time I ran it back in March 2005; 11 minutes slower than March 2006; 15 minutes slower than October 2006; and 18 minutes slower than October 2007. You get the picture :-)

Been a lot on my plate lately. Running should be an escape from all that but it's not worked out that way. I'm determined to get fit again over the summer though. If I survive the marathon.

It's about 16/17km, on Salter Road, just opposite a road, I think..

Hey what happened to the comment I left to this msg this morning? Finger trouble prolly.

Anyway, I didn't see you, although I looked out for you where I thought you should be. Bit hard to tell whether you're in exactly the right place, when the google maps perspective and the real thing are so different :-)

I finished in 4:42:50 which I'm happy with given this year's lack of training.

At least you're in no danger of going this slowly
