Sanity Badger Cup
by David Crowson at 18:42 01/11/07 (Forum::Technical Advice::General)
At random intervals (running the last beta before release of Leopard 10.5) the Macbook pro pipes up and states

"Sanity Badger Cup is now available"

or at least thats waht it sounds like :)

Not sure what app is causing this or what app it really means...anyone?

You've got 'speakable alerts' switched on somewhere probably.

I remember my Mac IIci speaking to me once, entirely unbidden. Never tracked down what caused it though - ghosts in the machine.

You running Parallels by any chance? The structure of the sentence sounds more Windows-like than Mac-like (ie it's like the system tray announcement pop-ups when a Wifi network or removable drive becomes available).

it's not parallels, suspect it's a web page or Office for Mac......
