I'll tell my PVR to record it, and you can have it in whatever video format you so desire.

Can you do NTSC DVD? :)

I'm getting up absurdly early tomorrow morning to try and get tickets for Hawkwind's first US performance in a long time (and Pure Reason Revolution's first US gig ever). Wish me luck - there's only a few hundred tickets available.

I'll make the programme available for download from somewhere... in fact I'll go and set the PVR now so I don't forget.

Yeah, I've seen Space Ritual a couple of times, and also "Nik Turner's Hawkwind" before Brock sued him.
Got NEARfest tickets... on the right facing the stage, 3rd row of the orchestra seats. That's traditionally the side Brock hangs out.
Looking forward to seeing La Maschera Di Cera and Pure Reason Revolution too. :)

Finisterre
... 'end of the land/world' - very appropriate name for that place. Though I've never been there I've read about it in a book from 1860-ish where the description of the journey makes it sound really isolated and remote.
There's probably a motorway straight to it these days.

Anyone watching the Beeb's Life on Mars?... Sam's running sequence at the start of episode 5 was accompanied by a bit of Hawkwind... not sure which track (had the unmistakable Turner sax), but made me laugh - The Hawks are hip at last! :)

I missed that - and I also missed the LoM episode where the opening sequence was a pastiche of Camberwick Green.

I recorded this on VHS.
If anybody still needs a copy let me know and I'll slide it sideways through time in your direction.
Just as an aside, came across this joke recently.
Heisenberg is out driving and gets pulled up for speeding. The policeman asks Heisenberg where he's headed and if he knows how fast he was going. To which he replies 'No, but I know my position.'
wah wah wah waaah ...

... where the hell's Crowson when you need him?
My favorite joke of all time is still:
"What do you do with a wombat?"
"Play wom."

Yes indeed. So why haven't you? :)
Looking like I'll be in the UK next week. Parents' wedding anniversary in Scotland first, then hopefully a chance to head down South for a few days. So it might actually be quicker to meet up.
I assume Mr. Crowson is still hiding out in Holland?

Hey, let me know your dates, I'd love to meet up.
Dave? Disappeared without trace. Seems we were suddenly not good enough for him. Clearly friendship is cheap in his world.

You're more than welcome to head over here - space to crash if you like.
It'd be excellent to see you again.
Crowson's vanished, but I'll text him to let him know you're in the country - maybe it'll enthuse him sufficiently to break his silence.

Just need to figure out the logistics of what days I'm where, but am looking forward to seeing everybody again.
I did call Dave. He confused me for another Gordon at first, and told me to keep it short, cos it was costing him a fortune. Grumpy bastard! He doesn't think he can make it over, but I'm to call him when I get to the UK, and he'll see if its possible.

Should be able to make a dinner party assuming I'm not over in the US at the time, and would be good to see you again. Which is currently planned for early June.
Will Signe be coming over too?
