Both of these http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=262539 http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=288861 suggest that this issue is fixed with the latest W2K service pack, but then they would say that, wouldn't they. So not much help from me I'm afraid. --

Has the servers been restarted since? lsass can not be restarted without the box being bounced, AIUI. In fact.. you HAVE bounced the servers... haven't you?? --
