Hotmail Ha Ha
by Simon at 15:43 01/12/05 (Blogs::Simon)
This week's been one of mail problems, but this made me laugh.

It's a transcript of an SMTP session, trying to deliver an email to a Hotmail user.

Violations will result in use of equipment located in California and other states.

Is this an oblique reference to the death penalty?

Y'know - I didn't even spot that.

When you pointed it out I assumed there was some <> bracketed text I'd missed escaping, but I've gone back to the original mail transcript in my scrollback buffer and it really, truly, does say exactly that.
