So yesterday I tramped off to Crawley for a course on web analytics...

... and there I met Justin Joyce of Co-operative IT.

Turns out he got into this whole new meeja thing through Tim Huckle, whom I know from my old Interactive Investor days. In fact I may well be seeing Tim in November, as iii celebrates its tenth anniversary with a party in London for the current and ex-employees. Hmmm - I wonder if they'll check for weapons at the door.....

That's one coincidence, but the folk Justin's working with now are the bunch that took over the .coop registry from PopTel, where our very own Dominic Search did the initial work and technical proposal for the new TLD.

I only heard about it via the iiialumni Yahoo group - here's the relevant info: http://www.iiialumni.co.uk/10years/ ... all are invited. In fact, since Kris isn't keen on going, d'ya fancy going along with me? Update: Hugo, I didn't mean to leave you out of that invite - do you fancy it? -- simon

only if you promise to stop me killing a certain Mr Molby who I gave a free trip to the Monaco GP, and who then subsequently terminated me due to me being late one day due to having a motorcycle accident in Fleet St. on the way to work. :) -- bombholio
