It's National Canoe Week

apparently :)

Anyway, to mark the occasion (actually it's pure coincidence:) and in preparation for this years Le Mans invasion I seem to have acquired one of these
and a BCU license (so I'm licensed to go on all the British waterways)

It's 2 person (and I have spare paddles and lifejackets) so if anyone fancies a couple of hours of messing about in a boat then please feel free to give me a prod.

I fancy having a go at this little trip , route here , on Sat or Sun, anyone up for it ?

PS There are many routes too choose from.

I would but I'm busy. I'm 'doing the Thames' in August (or July? I forget) with an old friend, I think it's a 'more the merrier' thing so if you wanted to come along I expect you'd be welcome. If not, could I maybe borrow your boat? :-) It won't be the whole Thames.. just a few days, towards the upper reaches, camping ad-hoc. --

Well if you don't mind the company I'd like to tag along (the boat has my rego on it, so if you did something silly or killed someone then I'd be for it. Perfectly acceptable if I'm there though:) -- DC
