Have returned to find the second week of the MRX well under way - heicopters all over the sky, silhouetted against the icy blues and yellows of an early February evening.
I think the Afghans have a saying about it - something about it's better to have the British for an enemy than a friend, because as an enemy they'll pay you to stop fighting.
